Alzheimer's drugs slow progression of disease

Alzheimer's still has no cure, but two different types of drugs have been found to slow the progression of the disease

This brief article discusses the use of cholinesterase inhibitors: donepezil (Aricept) galantamine (Ryminly), and Rivastigmine (Exelon) for use in early to mid stage of dementia, Memantine (Ebixa) for later stage dementia, and when to stop the use of these drugs. > read story
